Course Description
This 8-hour class is designed for those looking to lead and structure group sound events such as drum circles, sound baths, guided meditations, forest baths, corporate retreats, kirtan, and sound yoga. Learn how to create immersive, healing experiences for groups by mastering the art of sound facilitation. Whether you’re guiding a meditation or organizing a drum circle, this class will provide the essential tools and techniques to lead with confidence and create a transformative group environment.

Wyatt Mylius is a passionate sound healing practitioner and teacher who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his students at Rooted In Sound. With certifications in Peter Hess Sound Therapy, Gong Resonance Therapy, Nada Yoga, and Reiki, Wyatt's approach combines modern scientific principles with ancient healing traditions. He has trained with renowned experts, including Peter Hess, Mitch Nur, Ph.D., Mike Tamburo, Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary and Deepak Chopra, which deeply informs his teachings. Wyatt's classes offer an immersive experience that emphasizes sound's therapeutic potential for healing and personal transformation. His mission is to empower others through sound wellness education, providing tools for self-care, balance, and well-being.Wyatt’s teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that sound is not just heard but felt, connecting deeply with the body, mind, and spirit. A lifelong intuitive, creative, and musician Patrick integrates his training and experience in sound, Reiki, and bodywork to create and empower opportunities for deep healing and rejuvenation with his clients. Employing a compliment of techniques learned from teachers and masters in Bali, Thailand, Maylasia, and throughout North America Patrick strives to offer clients approachable and accessible opportunities for growth and transcendence of suffering. His creative, playful, and novel use of a compliment of healing and melodic instruments from around the world from gongs, bowls, and tuning forks to wind instruments and the voice makes for a dynamic theraputic experience.Whether creating and exploring new sonic landscapes in his soundbaths, or exploring the power of sound, vibration, and Reiki in private sessions, Patrick is looking forward to sharing his potent blend of personalized care with you!

With a lifetime immersed in music, I hold a university degree in Theory, Composition, and Music History, and bring over 30 years of experience teaching music in elementary schools. My journey took an exciting turn when I discovered crystal singing bowls, which led me to explore the world of Sound Practitioners. After hundreds of hours of training with leading experts and over 1,000 hours of research, I am dedicated to providing education that cuts through marketing hype, myths, and misinformation. My teaching approach makes complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for non-musicians.
