Reiki Level 1: Usui Method
Course Description
In this foundational Reiki Level 1 class, you will be introduced to the Usui method of Reiki, a powerful energy healing practice that promotes balance and well-being. Through hands-on learning and guided instruction, you will explore the history and principles of Reiki, learn the basic hand positions, and receive your first attunement, allowing you to channel Reiki energy. This class is designed for beginners who want to learn how to use Reiki for self-healing and to support others on their healing journeys.
Course Objectives
- Learn the history, philosophy, and foundational principles of the Usui method of Reiki.
- Receive a Level 1 attunement, opening your ability to channel Reiki energy.
- Master the basic hand positions for self-treatment and offering Reiki to others.
- Develop confidence in using Reiki to support balance, relaxation, and healing in yourself and others.
Who Can Take Electives?
- You do not need to be registered in the School of Sound Foundational Diploma Program to take an elective.
- Everyone is open to taking our electives.
- If, after taking an elective you decide to join the Foundational Diploma Program, credits have earned will be applied to your 24 hours of elective requirements.

With certifications in Peter Hess Sound Therapy, Gong Resonance Therapy, Nada Yoga, and Reiki, Wyatt's approach combines modern scientific principles with ancient healing traditions. He has trained with renowned experts, including Peter Hess, Mitch Nur, Ph.D., Mike Tamburo, Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary and Deepak Chopra, which deeply informs his teachings.
